All of our Teflon™ insulated coils are made with electrical grade copper and virgin orange PTFE.

These coils are mechanically formed to produce an exceptionally round and accurate coil, the Teflon covered copper tubing is flatten during this process. During the welding process this flattened area of the coil is adjacent to the wall of the steel tube, more coppers closer to the tube results in an improved electromagnetic coupling between the weld coil and steel tube. An improved electromagnetic coupling should cause your Induction Welder to run more efficiently resulting in either a lower electric bill or increased weld power.
The lead times on our Teflon™ insulated coils are very fast with most orders shipping the next day! We also keep stock for our customers who need JIT delivery, usually shipping the same day.
VT1 Coil wraps are made with 3/8" OD electrical grade copper, Teflon ™ insulated, with 3/8" x 18" leads. 3 wraps
VT3 Coil wraps are made with 5/16" electrical grade copper, insulated with Teflon ™, with 3/8" x 18" soldered on leads. This coil works very well when producing small OD steel tube sizes. Also see VT6.
VT4 Coil wraps are made with 3/8" OD electrical grade copper, insulated with Teflon ™, with 3/8" x 18" leads. 2 wrap
VT5 Coil wraps are made with 3/8" OD electrical grade copper, insulated with Teflon ™, with 3/8" x 18" leads. 3 wrap. Leads are positioned vertically.
VT6 Coil wraps made with 1/4" electrical grade copper, insulated with Teflon ™, with 3/8" x 18" soldered on leads. 3 wraps. This style is recommended for welding the smaller sizes of steel tube. Also see VT3
VT7 Coil wraps made with 3/8" OD electrical grade copper, insulated with Teflon ™, with 1/2" c 18" soldered on leads. 3 wrap.
VT8 Coil wraps made with 1/2" OD electrical grade copper, insulated with Teflon ™, with 1/2" x 18" leads. 3 wrap

3/8" & 1/2" Teflon ™ Tubing is also available in 100' rolls. This Teflon ™ is specifically made for the manufacture of work coils. The ID is large enough to accommodate the copper tubing.
